my printer prints ok,but carnt read it,

hi im newbee to this site,my son sent me an insurance document attach by e mail it read ok but he wanted a copy to get his car tax, when i click on print it was ok but you carnt read it, all the words are mixed up and crossing over each other hope you can help mick..canon pixma mg2150.
