Paper mismatch while printing envelopes MFC-J4335DW

I wonder how to avoid the paper mismatch error while printing envelopes on MFC-J4335DW. I gave up trying to use the regular paper tray as it is not marked for envelopes and started using the manual slot on the back of the printer. In both cases I receive the same error and nothing is printed, the envelope is thrown out of the printer
