Printing documents on Epson SureColor P800

Is there any downside to using a fine art printer for document printing? Does the use of uncoated plain paper cause damage to the head or introduce fibers that can clog the printhead?

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R800 that I had been using for printing documents, but thought of retiring that printer to get back some desk space and simplify my overall workflow (not have to maintain two printers and buy two different kinds of ink).

Should I keep the R800 for document printing or get rid of it?
