Memjet and it's professional group of developers have been trying to market these print engines as the death to all other types of print...well brothers and sisters, I am here to testify. I tried 2 different printers, why 2? Because the second worked as bad as the first.
My suggestion is to ditch the memjet program until it goes through another 20 years of development. As far as RENA, their idea of standing behind there product was to keep sending me these expensive paper weights.
If you are looking for an envelope solution, in my 30 yrs. of printing experience, I would stay with the tried and true...heck I would even run a risograph before the mach5.
Don't trust these trades how demos they give you. We all know the real life, in shop runs are the true test. I don't have a tech next to me everyday like they have at these trade shows, to fix it and keep it running.
