Ricoh Aficio MP 4500 - How to scan files to USB attached to Netgear router?

I have a Ricoh Aficio MP 4500. It doesn't have a thumb drive USB slot. I'd been sending scans by e-mail but all my email providers have now added too much security so I can't send emails any more.

I have it attached to a Netgear router. The router has a thumb drive plugged into the back. Anyone know how to set it up so scans go to the thumb drive?

I can provide more details but I don't know what you'd need.
