I've got an office printer (mp c2051) that prints ok from a PC but for some reason I'm not able to make it work from a MAC (OS X 10.11.6). I can connect to the printer with it's IP, but when I try to print anything, all that comes out is gibberish. I've tried downloading a driver from the Ricoh website and I've tried various settings (LPD, IPP.. all the ones it offers) in different combinations but nothing seems to be working.
EDIT: After 2 hours of trying everything I could think of, I managed to solve the issue by downloading Gutenprint for El Capitan, in case anyone else has this problem.
