Scan to Adobe DC

I have a Canon Image Class MF726CDW and I'm trying to scan to Adobe DC using the document feeder. In Adobe I tell it to scan both sides yet it will only scan one side. If I remember correctly when using Acrobat prior to DC, the scanner would scan both sides using the document scanner, please correct me if I'm wrong. I posed this question to the Adobe forum and the response was it was the scanner driver. Does anyone know if this is correct and if so, whom should I get in contact with to correct the problem or am I missing something.?
