Unable to print photos on glossy paper.

For many years I have been able tp print photos on ink jet glossy paper using my Expression Premium XP-6105 printer. All of a sudden, my printer refuses to do so. I am still able to print the photos on plain paper. I wondered if I was not entering the correct settings or could it be a fault on my printer. Can anyone please offer a solution?
