I wish I could make a printer small enough for personal use that can print commercial quality CDs. I would assume I would need mechanical engineering training to be able to create what I'm looking for. Or maybe customize/manipulate existing printer to work as how I want it to work. Let's say a regular printer that prints only on paper, can be turned into a printer than can print on CDs, etc.
what kind of training must I have to create and or repair a printer?
