Xerox C600 colour registration issue

I've got a recent (few months ago) problem that's occurred with a Xerox C600, where the colours are vertically mis-aligned.

See attached image, the last green "Hello" clearly shows how far out the colour registration is.

I have tried (as per Xerox's suggestions from their website)
- Cleaning density sensors
- Cleaning LED lenses (using the supplied cleaning rod)
- Colour calibration (from the menu)
- Colour registration (from the menu)

Anyone suggest what might be wrong and what to try next?

Thanks

Jim

It looks like you’ve done most of the basic troubleshooting already. A few additional things to try:

  1. Check the drum units: Misalignment could be due to an issue with the drum or imaging units. Try reseating them or replacing them if they appear worn out.
  2. Check the fuser: A worn fuser or an issue with its rollers can sometimes cause misalignment.
  3. Run a more advanced color calibration: Sometimes, the standard calibration isn't enough to fix misalignment. Look for an option to perform a more thorough calibration, possibly involving a test print.
  4. Check for firmware updates: Sometimes, color registration issues can be caused by bugs, which might have been fixed in a firmware update.
If none of that works, you might want to contact support for a deeper dive into the issue.

Good luck!
