Xerox Versalink 70x0 / 7020 / 7030 can't connect to the internet • How to configure?

Hi everybody,

Recently I bought a Xerox Versalink 7030. Both my computer and the 7030 are connected to my modem. The Xerox by RJ-45 ethernet, Apple's laptop by WiFi as it lacks an ethernet port...

I can use the Xerox 'Xerox Print and Scan Experience' application to print and scan, so it is safe to say that the printer communicates with the modem/router. However, I have no clue how to configure the 7030 and use its functionality as scan and e-mail from the 7030's touch panel, acces software updates, etc.

I hink I need to set up settings in my modem/router, but have no experience to know how. Does anyone haven an idea what to do?
