Suddenly my XP-630 is showing a paper out on #2 tray error and nothing ,cleaning under the printer tray slot/chute ,or classic power or key board or Software resets has cleared the problem. No dust or paper slivers evident anywhere in the roller train, and won't even print a test print from within the System app. Wonder if this might be attendant to a Win 10 X64 update ,or some software clash from some Photo or other printing program, though I am not aware of any changes or use of other than Google Photo or Picasa or Printmaster that I have used recently...and this problem showed upin same time frame as a low ink message -that has since been cleared with a fresh Ink Cart..

That happened to me too with my XP series turned out the tray sensor was misaligned. I had to gently pull the tray out and reseat it a few times until the error cleared. Also, maybe try printing from a different program just to rule out software conflicts. Windows updates can be sneaky!

Do you or anybody else know whether that sensor is Optical or micro switch type? I could try compressed air to perhaps dislodge fuzz that my Swiffer cloth didn't snag when I passed it under the printer in the tray shoot, but if it's not some kind of paper particle that's causing the problem I don't think compressed air is going to help me.. but perhaps others would know. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone and perhaps didn't cause the problem myself.
