3.5 X5 picture scanning position Brother MFCJ 497 DW

Hi Newbie here.
I have a brother MFCJ 497DW printer. For the life of me I can't figure out where to position the 3.5 X 5 picture on the glass so that it comes out correctly. I can't get it to center like it should. I have the size set correctly. Any help will be appreciated.
