5510 out of paper problem

I have two 5510 office jet printers hooked to two different laptops. Both printers work fine but show out of paper when trying to print from the laptops.
I have tried every fix shown on the internet including deleting the drivers and starting over but no result . Anyone know what to fix this problem?
