All my images are faded?

So, my mother just bought a new printer, a Canon PIXMA MX522 Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Office Printer (yes I googled the full name). I was trying to check out how good the quality on images was (and it's pretty great, actually), but I ran into a snag. The first picture I printed was fine, but every one after that was faded. It was still just as crisp and clear, but it looked like it'd been sitting in the sun. I don't know what to do in order to change the settings so that it uses the full color. Help?
