Best Printer for Decal Paper

Hi,

Hope anyone can help. I am into making decal designs as I customize model trains/cars/Lego. I use waterslide decal paper for my decals.

I recently bought an Epson L805 photo printer. Unfortunately, printing on the decal paper is impossible as it always prints excess ink (I have to wipe it off to see the actual print). I have already tried lowering saturation and density in an attempt to lessen the ink used but to no avail.

I am now thinking of purchasing another printer (will sell the Epson L805). Before I purchase, I would like to ask what would be the best printer for printing decal papers?
