Our canon MG6650 had the 1700 code so I cleaned the ink pads. What I now can't do is reset the counter. I tried the off/on/hold method but no joy, no reset.
So what do I need to do to reset the counter please ?

Check the discussion on printerknowledge.com for info on where to find the appropriate service utility (usually eBay) and pay particular attention to the warnings about having the right utility, etc...
