Canon MP600. Printer screen says paper outlet jammed but as soon as printer switched on it takes paper through. Jammed message will not remove so cannot go 'home' and it cancels any instructions from computer. Can anyone help?

Hello,

I would try and do a cold boot on the printer.

1. Remove cartridge(s)
2. Shut down printer and unplug from wall.
3. Let sit without power for at least 10 minutes.
4. Restart the printer with no cartridges installed.
5. When “No Cartridge” error displays, install Ink cartridge(s).

That should fix the error you're receiving.

Very interesting. It would be interesting to hear back from lancaster.d if the problem was resolved.

FWIW:
Several years ago, my MX850 behaved very similarly. Very, very frustrating. I just kept trying things ... randomly ... for days ... until it finally decided to work ok. Several times, I was close to giving up on a really, really nice/fast CLI-8 printer.

My speculation, in hindsight, is that I may have done something "close enough" to what is described by Adrian. Wish I'd seen his guidance earlier.

BTW ... send message to Lancaster.d to ask him to provide follow-up, especially if MP600 ok.
