I am looking at purchasing a new large format printer for photos and artwork at work. We did have an Epson Stylus Pro 7800 and after 12 years it finally quit. I have been looking at the Epson P6000 and the Canon Pro 2000. Both are 24" printers and both are similar with the exception of resolution and nozzles.
The Canon has 18432 nozzles compared to the Epsons 2880. The resolution on the Canon is 2400 x 1200 dpi while the Epson is 2880 x 1440. I feel good about the Epson since our last machine lasted for 12 years but the Canon also seems impressive.
If anyone can share their experiences or has personal knowledge of these two machines I would love to get some feedback so I can make an informed decision. Thank you in advance for your help.
