This is driving me nuts. Mac OSX High sierra.

Went to use my printer today, but got a message saying that is wasn't connected. No problems before, set it up fine, downloaded the drivers or whatever was needed from their website, but nothing. everything is connected (I use a usb connection, not wifi). Reset the printer setup, managed to go through the download section to install all drivers, got the mac to see the printer again, went to add it, but at the bottom of the add on window it said that apple has no drivers for this printer.

I don't know what to do. Where can I get drivers for this printer? I haven't touched anything since the last time I used it, but now nothing.

Can anyone help me? I've been to Canon's download page for the drivers for this printer, and installed them, but it still won't print.

Ugh yeah, High Sierra can be picky. Try resetting the printing system (right-click in the Printers list > "Reset printing system"), then reinstall the Canon drivers again. Also, make sure you’re picking the actual Canon driver when adding the printer, not "AirPrint" or "Generic". That usually does the trick for me.
