Epson Artisan 835

We have had this printer for years and it still works great! However, I recently changed from PC to a Mac Mini. I have the correct drivers, etc. my Mac will send to print and the Artisan 835 will print. But... part of the time the black text comes out yellow and is impossible to read. When printing from the PC it works fine. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance if you can help.
