I have spent two weeks trauling through the web with no solution to my prob.
I recently used some compat carts which worked ok. I use this printer as it uses pigment ink, which is cool for reasonable quality T-shirt transfer printing.
It worked ok with compats but black blead a little on transfer paper.
After a number of document prints ( approx 30) I got the pop up that ink was empty in cyan, which it wasn't. I re fitted it and got the pop up NON COMPAT CART. It reads all the others as original. But now will not even read an original cart in cyan port.
I have tried epson tech help- script rubish!
Tried the un plug and leave for a few hours-no go.
Re install all carts. - Still cyan won't read anything.
I figure that there is an issue with the chip reader.
SSC has no resetter for this model. Would resetter solve this issue anyway???
Any ideas folks as i'm all out of them bar getting my hammer out and reeping some retribution on the damn thing LOL..
