hi, i have an epson p50 printer that i would like to try to repair. the printer turns on regularly but the carriage where the cartridges are positioned moves from right to left then from left to right and then again from right to left, always blocking causing the lights of the paper and the cartridges to come on. cartridges are regularly installed and in the past when some cartridges were not recognized only the cartridge light would turn on. I am attaching photos . Can anyone help me?

found that it was the encoder which was not positioned well behind the electrical contacts of the cartridge holder. Now if I turn on the printer, the carriage no longer bangs but moves a few millimeters from right to left and then returns to the right and I see that all the gears move but the carriage no longer moves as it should be on the left and the classic ones turn on. two flashing orange lights. if I manually move the trolley all the way to the left or even halfway, it moves very slowly to the right and then carries out what was described previously. Could it be the engine?

Hello. just to pass the time every now and then and to understand. Now using the wic program it gives me error 0x71 which is positioning error and the orange light of the cartridges turns on. This error is referred to the AGP. I checked the sensor and it seems to me working what else could there be?
