Epson SureColor S70670 PROFILING ISSUES

We are trying to re-profile the machine and when we get to the end, an error pops up. When we called Epson they said to uninstall and reinstall and we can profile again and all the setting SHOULD stay. Has anyone tried that yet? I am scared to uninstall and lose previous settings.
