Epson XP 310 Loose Cable Ribbon

Hello!

I was replacing my ink cartridges and accidentally pulled out a small cable ribbon from the back of the printer head. I have tried to put it back, but where it inserts is too far back, I tried for over two hours to get it in. Does anyone know how to replace this ribbon? Photos of the cable and insertion point are attached. Thanks!
