Hi, I've had my Epson XP-342 for a number of years, along with my Dell Laptop, Windows 10 Professional 64 bit, I'm sure that I've used the scanner software before on Win 10. I can install the printer software and that installs fine, either USB or Network, If I try to install the Scanner software it doesn't complete, just sits there 3/4 of the way through, I think it's trying to install a driver, bit surprised that there is a separate driver for the Scanner. Anyone any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I've tried disabling the AV software as per
    https://www.epson.co.uk/viewcon/corporatesite/kb/index/1679.

If I try and install the Epson scanner software it just gets 3/4 of the way through, if I check for software updates, it says that there is a new printer driver, 3/4 of the way through it says make sure the printer is connected, since I can print via USB it's definitely connected
