Epson XP-830 Ink reservoir full

So I have replacement sponges and it seems easy enough to get in and change them but then apparently I have to reset the counter? I keep seeing stuff about a WIC key that I need to get. Anyone have any experience with any of this? Thanks in advance. Tim P
