I'm new to the forum so Hello everyone and I whilst I hope not to have to pose questions on here regularly I also hope to stay in touch as a regular visitor.
I have a problem with my erratic Printer! Epson WF-5690DWF.
Moved from wired connection to remote wifi and all worked fine. Came to it yesterday and wanted to print a letter and envelope. Letter printed fine but will the envelope...hell no! Printer reports invalid settings or not connected. I've moved it to fresh location allowing both wired and wifi. Same problem. Reports invalid settings. I simply can't figure it and it's diving me nuts! I did a Network Connection test. Everything passed and the wifi signal was very good. However, although showing Network working correctly the report said
*Multiple network names (SSID) that match your entered network name (SSID) have been detexted. Confirm network name (SSID)
*A router/access point channel conflict has been detected. If you have problems printing or scanning improve your wireless network enviroment.
*If your problems persist seee documentation and networking tips.
I my Printers & Scanners List I have EPSON WF5690 series offline followed by WF5690 (remote) ERROR, default followed by second wireles set up I tried WF5690 (Remote) 2 ERROR.
Yet when I print a page it is picking it up and printing OK but envelopes nothing! Tried alternatyive envelope app. with same result.
Sorry it's long wided but thought more info. rather than less usually helps. Question is how to restore normality please?
My thanks paid forward of course......

Thank you for the advice. I've reached a point where I can print A4 documents (my usual size) but NOT envelopes (usual size is DL10) and in the PRINT SETTINGS there is no corresponding envelope option just the page size options. Not to oversimplify it but I can now print documents on a remote setting which was what I wanted to achieve. I just don't understand why standard envelope sizes aren't provided as options in the PRINT SETTINGS. After all when I moved over to wifi remote these settings were in the printer options when I was hard wired but suddenly disappear when I move to wifi. I must be missing something basic guys! I've gone through all the menus on the printer itself and nowhere can find a solution.

Hope this will help you:
http://www.wikihow.com/Print-on-an-Envelope-with-an-Inkjet-Printer

and this:
https://www.epson.co.uk/viewcon/corporatesite/products/mainunits/faq/7625/12474
(Click on Method 1 and Method 2)

Or use WORDPAD:
http://smallbusiness.chron.com/use-wordpad-print-address-envelopes-45322.html

There are many envelope printing templates available to download. This being just one of many:
https://thepapermillstore.com/free-templates/envelope-templates
and this one:
http://www.print-my-envelope.com/

Here is a downloadable application that might work for you:
https://print-envelopes.en.softonic.com/#app-softonic-review
It states compatible Win XP, but will work for Win Vista-Win7-Win8
Try it. Think you will like it.

Ruffin...hanks for swift response. I should have mentioned Im on a Mac using OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite which probably makes a difference! So Windows apps are no help I'm afraid. Epson should have something I feel .....
