Howdy. I'm new here. I LOVE these printers and have been using them for more than twenty years.
Recently I bought a brand new HP cartridge in the machine. On start-up I heard a loud CLUNK-CLUNK-CLUNK, something I'd never heard before. Now it jams every time, on the first page.
I cleaned off the roller very thoroughly. No help. Suggestions?
BTW, while I'm on the topic, I've been buying old genuine OE HP toner cartridges for these that have been fine in the past. Should I be buying newer, aftermarket cartridges instead, and if so, what brand(s)?
