Hi everyone — I need help with an Epson WF-C20600.

The printer I bought has an admin password set and I can’t access the Epson tablet/menu to configure network settings. It only prints via USB. I tried lots of things (drivers, NetConfig, Restore Network Defaults), and I even tried entering Service Mode with the password 98308, but nothing changed. Does anyone know an official way to fully reset the printer or how to get it back to factory/network defaults without the admin password? Thanks.

Did you try:
The default administrator password for the Epson WF-C20600 is located on a label attached to the printer itself, either on the side where the cover opens, the back, or the bottom. If both labels are present, use the password next to "PASSWORD". If only the second label (with the serial number) is present, the default password is the serial number printed on that label.

Thank you very much for your reply. I already tried that, but the person who sold me this printer had forgotten the password. Since this is my first time buying such a machine, I didn’t know it would cause me so many problems. Even though I paid for the transport and everything, now I cannot return the printer :( this password is the device’s administrator (admin) / service-mode password stored in the printer firmware. It controls access to system and service menus

Try this:
To perform a factory reset on an Epson WF-C20600 without a password, navigate to the printer's control panel and go to Settings > General Settings > System Administration > Restore Default Settings. Then, select Clear All Data and Settings and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the action.

Ran into this too, if the admin password is locked, try holding **Home + Power** while plugging it in (might vary by model), then look for a full reset or "Factory Reset" option in the service menu. If that doesn't show, some models need Epson support to reset the password, they might give you a temp override code. Kinda annoying, but worked for me after calling them.
