Printer is Brother monochrome laser model # HL-L2380DW. After using manual feed of document to be copied, I cant find the original document. THe printer copies correctly according to the manual feed instructions in the Basic User's Guide, But I dont know how to retreive the original document. I dont find it in the trays at the rear of the machine. It has to be somewhere stuck in the printer? Please help . Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question - I didn't think that model had an ADF (automatic document feeder), won't your original still be on the scan glass?

I think I see what you did. You must have feed the original through the manual feed slot - that's for recording paper, the same as the lower paper tray. You need to put the document face down on the flatbed scan glass on top, and then go into copy mode.
