HP Deskjet 3750 - Refilling ink cartridges

Hi there!
Does anyone know if its possible to use refilled Ink cartrigdes on HP Deskjet 3750?
I refilled the original 304 cartridges with non genuine 304 ink, but the printer just refuses to do anything with it.
My Epson printer recognizes the non genuine ink and asks me whether or not i want to continue.
The HP 3750 seems to only work over the HP Smart app and keeps showing the cartridges as empty.
