Trying to print out photos on the above printer.Print out ok but I want to print them at the actual size which varies by photo. There are buttons at lhs of my printer .
Plain A4 Copy Settings
Photo A4
Photo 10x15

Actual size
Resize to fit

I want to select the "Actual size" button and the Photo 10x15 buttons but my printer won't let me select these 2 buttons. When I press Photo 10x15,the printer goes down to "resize to fit".
I lost the manual a long time ago since it is an old printer. Can anyone tell me how to print out the photos the actual size I have resized them on my laptop to and on 10x15 photo paper.
Hope I've explained my problem clearly.

Affinity Photo setup here:
https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/software-review-affinity-photo-1-5-2

Many Affinity Youtube tutorial videos available this page:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=affinity+photo+tutorial

Affinity Photo Application is complex and unless you are comfortable with such,
you might want to look at simpler apps like Picasa here:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/picasa_photo_organizer.html

or

Windows Live Photo Gallery here:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/picasa_photo_organizer.html

Both are free of cost.
You can find many tutorial videos for either on Youtube.com

Consult your HP printer manual for further instructions regarding photo printing.

Thanks for the reply.I have been learning Affinity Photo for a while now and I am now reasonably comfortable with it.I have edited a lot of photos with it and now ready to print them out having exported them.My only problem now is getting them printed out to the dimensions I have sized them to.It is my printer now that I bother with.

See print photos step by step page 12 and maximum dpi page 22 of your printer manual here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01859574.pdf
Doubt you can select "Actual Size" as would be too large for paper size.
You must "Resize" photo or "Crop" photo to fit paper size 10X15 selected. You cant select both Actual Size and Resize together.

If you select 10X15 then your printer is looking for 10X15 size paper.
If you desire to print on A4 paper, select A4 paper and resize photo
to a size that will fit on A4. If you desire to print 10X15 on A4 paper,
then resize photo to 10X15 prior to printing.

Thanks for the further advice.I resize the photos in Affinity photo then export them to a folder ready for printing. All my photos are resized to 6x4 or less.A lot of them are not the standard sizes because I have cropped them to a non standard size.I will try using A4 paper and try the Actual size option>I will let you know how I get on.The photos are old family photos taken over a number of years and when I look at them,I realise I was not a very good "photographer".That is why I have cropped a lot of them to cut out parts I don't want.

Bill: Might be helpful to you to use "Windows Photo Viewer" to do the printing.

Go to folder with your images
Click photo you wish to print
Photo Viewer opens
Click "Print" at top of screen
Click Print again
Now make these selections:
Printer (HP Deskjet)
Paper Size (4X6 or Letter or click down arrow for many sizes of paper)
Quality (Best)
Paper Type (Plain or Glossy or you decide)
Remove Check from box at bottom this window (Fit Picture To Frame)
Click "Print"
You can also click "Options" bottom right this window to see your printer properties
However your printer has already been setup with selections made above

I use this when images already sized to my liking. Seems much simpler process
Hope it helps.
Regards
