Hi all,
I have a 1018 that has seen very little use in the past couple of years. When I attempted to print today, it came out as per the image below. As you can see, there are horizontal smudges that match the circumference of the toner transfer roller, and some 'ghost' print that appears at a distance that matches the circumference of the drum. The word TEST appears just once at the top of the document.
I have tried the cleaning procedure, and dismantled it to check connections and give it a clean.
On this model, the toner cartridge and drum are all one unit. Replacements are relatively inexpensive, but I thought I'd check with the knowledgeable on here before throwing good money after bad!
Many thanks
