I am a booster for many football programs and we do a lot of copying and printing. We need an all in one printer that will do quality flyers and and handle the printing of registration forms that are required. Initial cost of the machine needs to be less than $500.00 and the cost of operation needs to be as low as possible. We will print 1000 flyers during the year and about 2000 registration forms. Can you steer me to the machine that will give reliable, cost effective service? Laser, officejet or other of any brand.

Since you need to do a lot of printing works, find a good laserjet printer. But if you need to print more colored prints, it's better to choose inkjet printers. Another thing is that, laser printer can print up to 8,000 pages before it runs out. Compare that to an inkjet printer, which might print as little as 200 pages before the cartridges run dry. Although you also need to know that inkjet printers are cheaper compared to laserjet at initial price.
