Kodak ESP 5210 Printing Problems

Hey, I need some help with my Kodak printer, i just tried to print a document but nothing was printed (Not even faintly) it told me it needed new cartridges, So I bought a new Black and colour cartridge, inserted them, tried to print something, still nothing. I then cleaned both the contacts inside the printer and on the cartridges with a cotton wool bud and warm water, still nothing. I calibrated the printer and it managed to print a page of yellow lines.

Any idea on what the problem is and how I can fix it?
