New Fpson P800 ICC profiles don't work in Photoshop CC

Just got a new Epson P800. I see their profiles in Photoshop CC, but they don't work-colors are dull/wrong/greyish.If I tell the printer to use printer color , the colors are quite a bit better though generally darker. And I want to use other profiles like Red River. I'm very frustrated-my old 3880 profiles worked just fine. I'm hoping someone can help here-kind of driving me crazy! Thank you!
