NO BLACK PRINT

Brother inkjet printers have a common fault, basically it gets air locks in the pipes where the ink flows through. This will happen if there is air in the cartridges to start with. Getting rid of the air lock is not an easy job, I'm not going to lie. The easiest way I found was to remove the black cartridge, get a 10ml syringe of water put it over the nozzle of where the black cartridge would sit in the printer and push the air bubble out. Don't pull it through. You will need to put tissue underneath the printhead in the machine. Before you do this, open the lid to your machine, look inside towards the front and you will see the tubes, its easy to see what colour the tubes are. Find the black and check to see if you can see the airlock. Also, double check the cartridge to see if you have fully removed the pull off label that covers the breath hole in the cartridge. Simple things first. Hope this helps!
