Printer produces gibberish report with each print run

Every time I go to print a document on my Brother DCP-L3650CDW Printer a page is printed with the following message appearing one or more times:

GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1
Host:localhost.

Brother seem incapable of stopping these useless sheets of paper being printed.

Does anyone have a clue how to stop this waste of paper?
