Hello,

i have a problem with the xerox global print driver on a windows 11 pro (version 10.0.22631 build 22631).
The user interface of the printer is not the one i used on my older pc.
The printer dialog does not show the options for the material selection.
On the old pc, the print dialog shows the various paper types in the printer trays.
When i open the properties of the printer in the device settings i can not choose the workcentre 7425 in the configuration list.
The workcentre 7425 is missing in the list, the list shows the workcentre 7225 and the next item in the list is workcentre 7525.
I tried differend versions of the driver with the same result.

Thanks a lot
Chris

Hey Chris,

Yeah, the Xerox Global Print Driver can be a bit weird with specific models—if your exact printer (7425) isn’t in the config list, it won’t show the right options in the UI.

You could try manually setting the printer type by using a model-specific driver instead of the global one. Xerox usually has a dedicated driver for the WorkCentre 7425 on their support site—might be worth grabbing that and seeing if the full feature set shows up.

Hope that helps!
