The project is the following, I have a server with one CONSOLE session, the operating system is

windows server 2003, on this session there is an application running, and it always prints its jobs to the

default system printer (this cannot be changed) .

The problem is that you can work with the server from two rooms using USB and video extension, the idea is to find a way were the default printer is the one located on the room where someone is working, and change to the other room printer when someone goes there. Only the printer at the room where someone is working is powered on and both printers are the same model.

I tried the polling method but it doesn’t work and also powering off and powering on only one printer each time, but printers have their own identifications and even being the same model the system does not see the same printer if you disconnect one and then connect the other.

Is there a way were the systems sees both printers as one ?
