Hello,

I have a RICOH Aficio MP C2500.

I'm running with a Mac OS X 10.11.6 ( El Capitan ).

When i plug the printer to my computer it starts downloading a driver, then when i try to print i get black pages with code like this ; %!PS-Adobe-3.0 %APL_DSC_Encoding: UTF8 %A...

According to Apple it is because my computer use a pilote that support postscript while my printer do not support this version of postscript.

But there don't propose any solution.

Do you guys know how to solve this issue ?

Thank you !

I already tried to download the pilote from the official website, to uninstall the printer and to install again.

I've found the solution ;

You need to install the generic driver.

System Preference> Printers and Scanners> Delete the printer already installed by pressing "-"> press "+" to re-add the printer> In the add window when selecting the connected printer, at the bottom there are three option: choose the option: use > generic driver.

At home it works, if it does not work at home UP and I will help you, but mostly do not buy anything.
