I'm at my wit's end. For weeks I've been trying to find a working toner cartridge for my old HP LaserJet 4 Plus (identical to the LaserJet 5). I've tried several original cartridges as well as third-party options. With the older original cartridges, the toner leaks, and the printouts are poor. With newer original cartridges, the print quality is poor. The two third-party cartridges I've tried so far also produce poor print quality (only at the top of the page). The culprit for the poor print quality is supposedly the wiper blade on the drum, but I can't find one of those anywhere to buy separately. Does anyone have any experience with where to find a working cartridge or where to get a wiper blade? I really don't want to have to throw the printer away...
