I recently had the pleasure of working on a HP LJ 8000 today.....it was bought about 10 years ago. So because of the age several (tiny) pieces broke off during the disassembly which may be part of the problem. I had to replace a Fuser Delivery Sensor Board which is known as a PS 1403 in the manual but no longer goes by that name. IN the beginning when I was first called out to the business The error was check PS 1403. I did some checking around and tech support all said the same thing...replace the board. So after I replaced the board and I put it back together the printer now tells me to change the toner cartilage. I did this but it's telling me to do the same thing again. I think something else went wrong in the system or I did something when I was breaking it down or putting it back together.
Either way I was wondering if anyone else has ran across a similar problem.
