Hi,
I have a MFC-J5740DW wirelessly connected to my network. I have a number of shortcuts to scan documents to a PC. When I use these, the screen on the printer displays "connecting to pc..." and I'm waiting 5 to 10 minutes before it does anything.
There must be some connection from the PC to the printer as I can display the ink levels and can initiate a scan through iPrint&Scan.
Does anyone know why this takes so long for the printer to communicate to a PC? This is frustrating when I'm standing in front of the printer waiting to scan a document!!
Thanks
