Hey everyone!
I’m exploring printers for custom packaging needs — mainly for printing on wrapping papers, custom boxes, kraft paper, Mylar bags, and even labels or sticker rolls. There are so many options (laser vs inkjet, UV printing, flexographic, thermal, etc.) and I’m not sure which one suits best for small business packaging work.
Can anyone here share what type of printer/media works well for:
Also, is it worth investing in an in-house setup or should I go for third-party print services for small-batch orders? Any guidance or experience would be super helpful.

Can anyone here share what type of printer/media works well for:
- Custom box printing (especially cardboard or corrugated material)
- Tissue or wax wrapping paper
- Waterproof labels or sticker sheets
- Mylar or plastic-based materials
