Hi guys
I was replacing my printhead on my brother mfc-j6920dw. Each time I reassembled and dissassembled it, I had to remove the LCD ribbon cable. Suddenly the LCD stopped working. The ribbon cable pins look a little damaged, so I plan to replace it and see if it revives the screen. The rest of the printer functions fine. I am able to remotely print from my laptop (albeit i haven't managed to get the printhead working yet, so it just prints blank pages, but it is responding to commands from my laptop).
Even the home light does light up on the main panel. It's just the LCD screen that's completely dead.
Been hard to find a replacement. This to the best of my knowledge are the specs: Part number: 80c - 60v vw-1 - f - sumitomo-g awm 20624.
Dimensions I measured: 25 x 0.16mm x 190mm.
Number of pins: 48 (I checked this several times that it wasn't 50). Pins are on the same side.
