Wide Format Printer

Hello, im looking into purchasing a wide format printer. Nothing too fancy but with a minimum of 24" wide. Ive been looking at the following two.

HP T120
Canon IPF605

I would be used to print posters, banners, pictures, etc.

I am leaning towards the Canon. The HP says it has a 1200x1200 dpi max while the Canon is 2400 x 1200. Will the difference be noticeable?

Any insight would be appreciated, I dont know much on the topic.

Hi I would always go for Epson. The piezo head is not a consumable and you can save a lot by using third party supplies. Of course I must declare an interest as we sell G&G cartridges at Incartek
