My XP-640, even with the latest Epson updates installed invariably requires me to delete and re-install it for:
a) my MacBook to detect it or
b) my MacBook to detect and install the correct version to facilitate 2-sided printing
Frequently during the re-install process it comes up with Epson XP-640 followed by an IP address (no 2 sided options available); after numerous procedures of turning off/on, removing/replacing power lead etc it suddenly detects the Epson XP-640 Bonjour Multifunction version which DOES provide the 2-sided printing.
Even after I've been using the printer to my satisfaction it will suddenly decide there is no printer connected and I have to start over.
Why would it all be so random????
