Epson Print CD transparency file issues

The current/latest version of the software is not allowing me to import pictures with transparency. For years I used an older version and had no issues with .png files, but now no matter what I do, I have solid backgrounds. Looking for suggestions on how to solve or if this is a known problem, which most recent version handles this properly? Thank you.
